ACT Correlation Procedure

Does anyone have a correlation procedure that they would be willing to share? We currently use Hemochron Signature Elite for ACT-LR testing.

Thank you in advance!

Since there's no lab equivalent for ACTs, we do meter-to meter correlations using the quality crosscheck samples. You can also use QC results- several normals and abnormals of the same lot numbers, across the different devices.

We order verification samples for our Proficiency samples so that we can cover every section performing ACTs at least once each year.  Once we receive our proficiency results, we compare the results as we would correlation samples.  We end up with a correlation "study" 3 times annually without duplicating effort.

I'd be glad to share the one I developed for our facility. I use it for both ACT+ and ACT-LR on the Hemochrons. Sent you a dm to exchange emails to send

Good Morning,

Can someone share their expertise with the ACT Quality Cross Checks?

Thank you!
