Hello! Has anyone upgraded from Hemochron Sig Elite to GEM Hemochron 100 for ACT+? If yes, what are your opinions of it?

Some small issues with configuration since it’s new but my genius co-worker worked it out with IT, RALS and Werfen.
The intuitive-ness of how to use it is great, in this age where we are so much more used to touch screens. I like that they hold more than five lots of each kind of consumable and they don't have to scan the cuvettes anymore. They like that, too.
I would appreciate any of your tips and advice. Did your validations look good? How did staff training go?
Thanks!
Our validations were great. The Werfen Implementation Specialist ran them all and plotted them and sent us the report. The patient correlations with the Sig Elites were great, too. We implemented both ACT-LR and ACT+.
Staff training was pretty easy, too. We (the Implementation Specialist and I ) held a number of training sessions and trained the majority of the operators when she was here. Make the most of your time with the Werfen Implementation Specialist! Mine was very helpful. She had an orientation form for everyone, and then I also created another competency form to go with it, stating that they had already been successfully trained in all manner of running ACTs. We had everyone run a level of QC.
I can't speak to the connectivity end of things because we have RALS and Sunrise, so 'apples to oranges' there. Just make sure that all of your settings are the same across all platforms, or there could be some confusion. They also had us install their Configuration Manager at implementation, but then RALS takes over- however, we had some issues with things in RALS that were not in CCM and vice-versa, that created some issues. We were only the second site in the country to implement the GEM100s, so we were all 'learning on the fly'. Also, be sure that everything is enabled in the devices-- all the settings in the world in your middleware won't work if their corresponding toggle in the device (under settings in Supervisor mode) are not set to 'on'.
Everything has been ironed out now, and we're up and running smoothly.
Did anyone receive one, or would you be willing to share an outline with me?
Thank you!
