Venous Blood Gas Critical Values for pO2

Hello Everyone,
I'm reviewing venous blood gas critical values in our policy/procedure. I have a request to remove pO2 >70 mmHg from VBG critical values. Do you have critical values defined for Venous pO2 when results are high?

Thank you.
Jose

We don't have critical values, high or low, for venous pO2.

We have a critical for arterial pO2 but not venous, especially not on the high end.  I’m not even sure what the logic for that would be - do you know Jose?

James, I don't know the original reason for having a critical value for high venous pO2. We will have it removed.

We don't have venous critical values either.
