Great! Thank you for responding, Tara. We are trying switch from i-STAT to Triage for Troponin I and having problems with patient correlations for "abnormal" patient results. (The "normal" results are correlating). We have compared Triage to i-STAT and Triage to Vitros, and still having the same issues and not able to get within 30% difference. CAP PCARM surveys are acceptable, but results differ still from one another due to matrix effect. There are multiple factors in play that we have tried to consider and have exhausted all options so far that we can think of. Quidel implementation/tech support has not been very forthcoming with extra help or advice. How did your facility conduct patient correlations at implementation for Troponin I?
I'll email the protocol that we followed. Siemens high-sensitivity Troponin I is our primary method, so we were unable to use it as a comparative method.
