AVOX 1000e QC lockouts

Hello everyone,
Is there a way to get the device to lock out use if weekly liquid QC hasn't been performed? I'm struggling getting our cath lab to consistently run this weekly. Any tips or tricks to help would be appreciated.
Thanks so much everyone!!

The Avox 1000E does not have QC lock out for the filters or the weekly QC. We interfaced our Avox through Telcor so we could see when the QC or filters were out of range in real time. We had the same problem.

We're in the process of interfacing through Telcor for the same reason. I do have lockouts for daily QC filters set but I didn't think it was an option for the weekly liquid QC. The device is fairly new to the facility so I was hoping someone had a process or knew a way this could be done :)
Currently, I have them documenting those QC results on a log and either I'm pleasantly surprised monthly that QC was run each week or the sad surprise of missing weeks.

Since the Avox is unidirectional the only way weekly QC could be programmed to lock out would be at the instrument level and the Avox doesn't offer that option.  You can lock out the daily filters, but we have found that it only detects if they have been run, not if they are within range at the instrument level.  The staff are supposed to check the values and repeat if they are out.  That is the same process for the liquid controls.  We have a designated day liquid controls are run so we can be on the lookout for them and alert leadership if they have not been completed.  We are interfaced to RALS so we can see if something is out or if controls have not been completed but we still have occasions that an out of range control does not get completed right away.  It is a work in progress. :)

I am in the middle of setting the AVOX 1000 up to Telcor and having issues with programming the Latronix box. Does anyone know the Latronix box settings needed to move results to Telcor?

We also interface through Telcor for the same reasons. We have built the parameters and can see visually, both daily and monthly, for QC performance and trends. It is part of our daily Telcor work to verify the liquid QC is performed, weekly for us, as this is not an option to lock out. Daily filter QC is on lockout but Telcor gives us the ability to see how it performed. I'll see what I can dig up from our interface project about the Lantronix box.

Same as everyone above. Lockout on the running of daily filters but not for weekly AQC. We've had ours for so long and have done so much education about not proceeding with testing until QC passes (and looking at all results, not just O2Hb), that we rarely have an issue now. But that takes time.
I actually just had to work with my lantronix settings recently and have screenshots. Kellie, I can email them to you.

Thank you so much Danyel! This will be super helpful.

This is a bit off topic, but looks to be the right crowd.  Are your interfaced AVOX 1000e results going into an EHR or stopping in Telcor?  Are results flowing into a Cath Lab Specific program such as HeartSuite/Merge?  Is it worth interfacing an AVOX simply for monitoring of Quality Control?

As for our Quality Control we are in the same scenario as Danyel.  Over years of education, our AVOX users are diligent about performing QC and verifying results are within range before patient testing.  Always room for improvement though.

I am setting up the AVOX 1000e to interface with TELCOR so the results can move downstream into Epic. My Cath Lab team is exceptional at documenting QC in a log however it would be wonderful to have this electronic. They also manually enter in the results in WebMRE and we are trying to move away from that as well.
