DCA Vantage Ha1c interface through QML to Epic

I am going to embark on interfacing our DCA Vantage Ha1c testing through QML to Epic. Does anyone have this already? Are there any hurdles or notable items that you could share with me?

thanks in advance!

I have DCA's connected to Telcor that go to Epic. The connectivity is simple IP,  subnet mask, and gateway to program from your IT group. The hurdle I see is that the newer models of DCA Vantages need a port speed of 10 Mbps. The port speed can not be higher then the 10 Mbps. My IT group continues to ramp port speeds up without notice and the results will suddenly not cross. The older DCA's are not affected by the port speed changes.

Thanks Kellie!! This is exactly what I was looking for. Most of our DCA units are a little on the older side but we are seeing a slight increase in replacements coming through. Your guidance is super helpful!

I haven't had any new DCAs in a few years so I'll have to be on the lookout for that Kellie, Thanks!
We have all our DCAs connected to QML and the only thing that I do notice is that any errors on the DCA will not come across to QML .  Like if there's an error for the glucometer or Clinitek we get those but not the DCAs.

Thanks for the heads up, Adonica. We see the error from our Cliniteks and glucometers too. Out of curiosity, what do you derive or do with the errors you see?

I echo what Kellie and Adonica say. I have had to replace almost all my DCAs in the past 3 years and what used to be a super easy connection (quite literally copying over the settings) has turned into a nightmare. I found out about the port speed recently and that maybe helped. I have to try between Static and DHCP half the time and just see which setting works. ITS here has given me the blessing to do whatever works for these as they have spent so much time helping me troubleshoot.
Like Adonica, I'd like to see the errors in QML myself because the end user NEVER look at the error code. So then you have no idea how to troubleshoot when they call.
