Hi All,
We are in the process of validation testing for iSTAT CG8 cartridge. We are struggling to get PO2 and TCO2 to reach the target value Eurotrol has assigned on the Cal Ver material. For every level we are recovering between 91.2% and 96% which fails our EP Evaluator parameters (>97%). Example L2= 164 and we recovered 154, 151, 156. What are you using for cal ver material? Anyone else struggle to get these parameters in? We've tried it multiple times changing the working temp conditions, how we mix the sample, always being super careful to not expose to ambient air ect. Thanks for any advice you may have!

But, we typically put the rubber guard onto the vial before mixing. This way there's less heat transfer from your hands/fingers to the vial.
Your values are really consistent, any chance you're warming the vial too much while mixing?
