ROTEM Proficiency

Does anyone have any opinions on the ROTEM Proficiency panels? We currently have the API that is a lyophilized product. I was thinking of switching to the CAP whole blood product (Normal Donor Blood Needed).
Anyone with experience with either or both, let me know!

Thank you,

Kyle

hi, both Vancouver General Hospital (Rotem is lab-based) and St Paul's Hospital (Rotem is POCT) use NASCOLA / ECAT Foundation Thromboelastography Programme Survey  Two challenges per year - two 1.0-mL lyophilized plasma specimens

Are you aware if API PT is available for the TEG 6S?
Sometimes with donor blood there are unexplained interferences.
