Proficiency Testing for multiple instruments

Let me start by stating that we are a CAP accredited facility. We are looking at changing our testing platform for ACT to the GEM Hemochron 100 devices. We would be getting 6 of these devices to use at our facility for HR-ACT (ACT+) testing. My question is, with using 1 testing platform and multiple devices, how do you all have your proficiency testing set up? Do you order 1 PT program and only run it on a primary instrument or do you have several PT programs that you are enrolled in? Do you alternate running the devices for each Proficiency Event or just the "primary" device? Just trying to figure out what the best plan would be when we make this switch to be sure we stay compliant with CAP's proficiency testing requirements. My email is aholland@catawbavalleymc.org if you prefer to respond via email. Thank you!

CAP accredited hospital with 3 blood gas analyzers. We rotate surveys between the analyzers so each one has one survey a year. Also perform the Quality Cross Check Survey which comes 2/year. If you have any questions, you can always reach out to CAP. I email them so the response is in writing and can be placed in my CAP binder in case there's a problem during an inspection.
Good Luck
