iSTAT PT/INR on Stroke Patients

Good morning!
For as long as I can remember I was told/under the impression that using the iSTAT PT/INR in the ED on stroke patients was considered off label use. Now that we are switching to the PT Plus cartridge and I am verifying that we cant use it on stroke patients. I am unable to find the information to back that up.
Does anyone know where I can find the information proving the iSTAT shouldn't be used in the ED? Or on the contrary, are others actually using the iSTAT in that way?

Morning,
Its intended use is the in vitro measurement of the PT to aid in the monitoring of patients receiving anticoagulant therapy with coumarin derivatives.
