Cobas Pulse

We just read that the Roche Cobas Pulse was denied FDA approval for capillary whole blood/fingerstick?!  CLIA waived FDA website states they only gave approval for neonatal heel stick and arterial whole blood (4/26/2024).  We will be moving to a new meter to standardize all of our hospitals and clinics and were considering the new Roche meter......there goes that idea.

We are now considering the new NOVA statstrip meter that was just approved.  Thought and tips are appreciated:)

I have Nova statstrip meters and really like them. FDA approved for critically ill patients and easy to use.

We have Nova StatStrip meters, highly recommend!
