AVOX E 1000 Replacement

There is nothing on the market with the TAT of an AVOX. 
The cost of all of the other possibilities was prohibitive compared to the AVOX. 
My cardiologists refused to use anything but the AVOX due to the TAT. 
Most cardiologists in San Antonio are used to the AVOX as it was invented here......
 

We have had those devices for more than 15 years, and that's why we have not replaced them. I have not heard of anything else that has a similar TAT. I was not sure if there was anything else that might be a replacement, but it seems like the answer is no. I wonder if anyone else has the same device 

We still have a single 1000E. The rest of the 13 or so I have are Avox 4000. 

As stated there isn't a comparable/modern equivalent out on the market in regards to TAT.  The Manufacturers of POC systems are incorporating Co-ox testing into more robust systems.  Gem, Radiometer, Prime Plus are all examples of these.
If you have a very small group of users with a low turn-over that also follow procedure reliably (run QC, document it and address if QC fails while results upload to the EMR)  then you are potentially OK.  The issue comes in with larger systems with more users, it becomes a regulatory nightmare... forcing facilities to move to the modern systems designed with current regulatory standards in mind.
We moved to the Prime Plus.
Since moving to the Prime Plus we have discovered that it, like the other modern analysers have internal QC sample checks that flag when sample issues are present,  The Avox has no such features and would miss them while providing inaccurate results.
