Rapidpoint 500e CVM acceptance criteria

We are looking at possibly modifying our acceptance criteria for our Blood Gas analyzers (Rapidpoint 500e) when running the CVMs. For those who use these same analyzers, I would love to know what criteria you use to evaluate your 6 month CVMs. Thank you in advance.

Hi Lindsey,

We use the criteria that comes with the CVM product itself and it is always in range. I am not sure if you are interfaced through RapidComm or something else, but we just plot the results against each other and it tells us if they're in range or not.

Thank you, Ashley. We use that information also, but I am looking specifically at the slope for each analyte and it appears that we have never had any acceptance criteria in place for the slope. If we were to go by the typical 5% deviation (0.95-1.05) there are certain analytes that would not fall within this range. Do you all look at the slope as well?
