I'm curious as to what POCT position titles you have at your facilities. I am the POCT/Lab quality manager for the IDN (4 hospitals, 5 lab OP sites, and about 30 physician offices).
What is your title- POCT Manager, Coordinator, Senior Tech, etc??
What are the position titles that report to you?
We are evaluating our positions and would like to know how other sites are organized.

6 soon to be 7 hospitals. Ground has been purchased for the 8th, but no date for groundbreaking as of yet.
5 pregnancy testing clinics.
One FTE (currently on long term LOA) that covers the largest hospital
Lead Techs in the other 5 hospitals that all have bench work as their first priority- three of the 6 on off shifts.
I supervise no one. The FTE on LOA and I report to the Market Laboratory Director.
All of the Lead Techs report to the individual Laboratory Directors.
When someone is out on vacation or LOA, the expectation is that I am the first person to cover for them.
This is not a model I recommend.....
I do 32 hours a week.
