Could people on here list your positions and the education/experience you needed to obtain the positions? We are developing a POC team, and it would be nice to see what the credentials are elsewhere. Thank you!!

POC Manager:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, general Biology, or Chemistry.
- MLS certification,
- Experience: 5 years full time experience as a medical laboratory scientist in a clinical laboratory setting. Prefer experience in Point of Care Testing.
- must meet Technical Consultant requirements.
Medical Laboratory Scientist:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, general Biology, or Chemistry.
- MLS certification,
- Experience: 2 years full time experience as a medical laboratory scientist in a clinical laboratory setting. Prefer experience in Point of Care Testing.
Clinical Lab Technicians: this group does our instrument troubleshooting, PT/Crosschecks delivery/pick up, restocking, inventory management, and some data entry.
- Education: High School diploma or GED. Associate degree preferred
- Experience: One-year previous experience and/or alternatively, an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Strong Customer service and troubleshooting skills a must.
