The future of diagnostic quality assurance

Definitely agree with the need to improve diagnostic accuracy and especially the post analytical causes! I still see a lot of gaps where the lab staff lack the foundational knowledge of statistical analysis (for example: are still using the old 2SD Westgard rejection rule from the 70's). The rigor just isn't there in the education of new laboratorians. Sysmex has taken it out of their hands with their BCQM. I'd like to see the Pro QCP.
