Looking for a POC Team that has TEG 6S on RALS with EPIC or Cerner for POC and also TEG 6S through DI in the lab at same institution

We currently have TEG 6S with a DI interface to EPIC in the heme/coag lab.  They want to add the device at 4 locations for POC.  We utilize RALS for unsolicited/CSN based POC interface of devices.

I am looking to find an institution that "looks like us" to find out if you have 2 TEG Manager Servers to handle the 2 types of interfaces or if you utilize a single TEG Manager server with both interface types and if it works with 1 server and if so, do you have any issues?

Jessica, with the exception that we are using Telcor QML and not RALS, we are doing this.  It works.

TEG 6s POC to Teg Manager to Telcor QML to Epic  (unsolicited)
and
Teg 6s (lab) to Teg Manager to DI to Epic  (solicited)

Same Teg Manager server.

We use TEG 6s and also have Telcor, but we interfaced directly to our LIS, Cerner.  Works great!  Maybe you could switch one of them to your iBus/LIS?

Jeremy M, we will be looking to move to the same set up you describe hopefully this year yet.  Do you mind if we get some more information on your experience?   Please reach out over email - sarah.ampomah@froedtert.com

Thanks!

Jessica, we are also planning to add TEG 6s this year with two separate interfaces, exactly the same as yours. We use RALS, DI Middleware, and Epic as well. Would you be willing to chat with us via email about your experience? My email address is CBlasick@kh.org.

@Christina and @Jeremy - we are prospecting at this time - reached out to find someone "like us"...IF we do this, our timetable is a year out; I am not able to offer up any of my experience yet.

Hi all, I wanted to ask those who have gone live with the TEG 6S with TEG Manager if you have instituted Interpretation guidance in Teg Manager and, if so, would you be able to share what you all have adopted as your IG rules? I have found articles addressing transfusion protocols based off TEG results for Trauma and CVOR, but would like to see what others have implemented successfully. Thanks in advance!
