IQCP for Hemochron Gem H100 ACT

I am trying to get an IQCP approved for the ACT GEM H100. We are currently running LQCs every 8 hours. Big problem for Cath Lab Nurses! I am seeking perspective on addressing a question on a concern about the EQC meeting an 8-hour QC requirement, if EQC actually checks for assay function of the device.
Welcoming insights that might be valuable for navigating the discussion with Admin approving the IQCP.
Thanks in advance!

I have our IQCP set for weekly. Seems like most facilities do monthly but I would probably never drop lower than weekly at our facility. I completely rewrote our IQCP the other year when upgrading to the GEM100s. Emailing you a copy.

Thanks!
We have been using the Hemochron Signature Elite for many years and run QC monthly. We will be upgrading to the Gem 100 this year. I would appreciate a copy of your IQCP. How do you like the Gem 100? Pros/Cons?
Thank you very much in advance.
Writing IQCPs is a nightmare. Feel free to send any questions about my risk assessments. I definitely have feelings about ACT testing. LOL.
How is everyone handling the wording in the package insert that states "repeat the test.....these warnings are system messages, not clinical values, and should not be used for patient-management decisions.
Thank you for any insight you have,
Patty
Thanks again,
Patty
