We recently interfaced the ACT+ on GEM100.  What does everyone do for "normal ranges / reference intervals".  With each OR and each procedure targeting for a different range, I am struggling as to how to offer appropriate guidelines as per POC.09148.
Your advice will be welcomed!

We use the printed ranges in the package insert for Non-UFH patients.

This is what I have in our ACT procedure

Recommend placing your test reference interval in your EMR to "normal" = un-heparinized patients.   Each department and commonly even physicians within the same department have different desired therapeutic ranges, which is not "normal".

I wholeheartedly agree!  The target ranges vary from physician to physician.
In your opinion, reporting the "normal" , non-UFH value, meets the requirements of the new POC.09148 (CAP) requirement?
