Just got my results and all looks good. Do you have extra PT samples for repeat? 

We had 2 of 5 locations fail Hgb only...and only by 0.1....this is going to be interesting!!!...

I believe 0.1 below or above the acceptable should resolve upon repeat.

We don't report hgb, but I did notice that my HCT had large SDs on the samples that are lower in value (which make sense because reducing the percentage would disproportionally effect values on the low end of your range).

I took a hit on my Hemoglobins on my Avoximeter 1000e on my last CAP PT kit.... 4 out of 5 out by just 0.1......Before they were 100% acceptable.
I opened a case with Werfen. My feelings is that we probably will not be able to report them out in the future because of CAP's stricter TEA.

JoAnn - I had the same issue!  All five of mine were out. I did a QC review and noticed that the AQC had been running a little high on that meter so I sent it off to Werfen for re-calibration. I'm going to have to look at the new TEA. We do not report Hgb from the AVOX on patients - only the oxyHb so maybe I can just not report on the PT. 

We also had some issues with Hgb/Hct for CHEM8+ cartridges with 2 out of the 5 samples. 

Yes, I think in the future , we will not be able to report the Hemoglobins. Waiting for Werfen to troubleshoot the issue.

@DanBallia  Unfortunately we do not have any more PT samples, nor does CAP.
I'll have to troubleshoot another way.
