Gem Hemochron 100 ACT: Anyone else sending it back for repairs?

Anyone else having trouble with the GEM Hemochron 100 ACT device? Just been sending a few back to Werfen to be repaired- device not charging 100% and Ethernet plug snapping off or won't connect. We have 24 Gem Hemochron 100 ACT devices. Most have the ethernet port before the USB-C upgrade. The ones I sent out related to a charging port issue, Werfen automatically replaces the existing port with the new USB-C.

I've sent back a few. One had a pump failure. Replaced the cord port on two. One had so many problems, they replaced the whole device and gave me a new one. Luckily, they were all under warranty. We seem to have ironed out all the kinks for now..

We have 42 GEMs waiting to go live and found 10 devices with the batteries reading 0% while being plugged in. We were told to switch out batteries with a device that was reading 100%. We ended up having to order new batteries and they aren't cheap!

We also have 42 GH100s and have sent back nearly all (and many more than once) of them since we implemented them in early 2023. Now that they are changing out the power ports, we will see if the rate of return improves. Luckily for us, most of them broke while still under warranty, but it is a very serious issue. We have been told to unplug them when the battery is full and not leave them charging overnight. Not the easiest thing to manage across so many different sites, but it is supposed to help with the battery life.
