Hi,
I am trying to get a poll for all those who use i-STATs in your hospital systems. Who manages your De customization, The POC staff or the IT (LIS) staff?

POCCs manage DE.

POC handles the DE customization although our Epic Lab Beaker team can assist. Our IT Site Support programs all the ISTAT downloaders and wireless devices.

POCC shandles DE with little assistance of the Beaker team if needed. Abbott customer support helps as well. Each POCC knows the needs of his/her hospital departments that use iSTATs.
I don't recommend IT to make decisions without the POCC approval.
