IDNow to Cepheid Xpress

Hello, has anyone tossed out their IDNows and replaced them with Cepheid Xpress?  If so, did it result in longer turnaround times that became an issue?  Were there any workflow changes that needed to be made to compensate for the longer times?  We are considering due to the rates of invalid testing we've seen with IDNow over the last several years but are concerned it will increase the door to door times for our clinics.

We made this switch at the beginning of march in our emergency departments. The extended turnaround time has not been an issue, especially since we incorporated the 4-plex cartridge that can provide COVID/FLU A&B/RSV at one time off one single collection instead of having to set multiple tests off of multiple collections. The testing personal like that they do not have to sit and wait anymore for the warm-up process, and the providers like that the results all come back at one time. We put in two of the 4 module GeneXpert Xpress devices into the unit replacing 6 IDNows that we ran COVID and Flu on. The shift actually allows for 8 patients to get their covid/flu/rsv results in the time it would take for 6 patients to get just covid and flu.
