Hi all,
Abbott has updated their website with new information regarding capillary sample type on their cartridges. I would suggest everyone that uses capillary samples review it. I would be really interested in hearing what options folks will be doing.

We’re in a similar situation. Right now our NICU team sends these samples directly to the main lab or has to draw extra blood, which we know isn’t ideal for our smallest patients. We’re also talking with Abbott about possible cartridge alternatives and reviewing GEM500 and EPOC as longer-term options.
