CSN - EPIC issues part 2

We just went live with Epic in July. We utilize RALs with our Accuchek Inform II meters. Our original issue after going live was that sometimes the patient's name & dob would show on the screen and other times it would only be the MRN. Not safe right - so I worked with RALS and we had to do some ADT mapping within RALs ie. creating parent site and child sites when before EPiC the information was filtered by institution it is not filtered by list. Anyway that seems to have fixed the majority of the issues, however, now there are times once in a while when they receive "Patient ID invalid." I am told by RALS that they are to re-dock the meter to transmit because the patient registration information has not been received by the meter yet. (ie. They are too fast trying to get the glucose check done before the registration flows through). For obvious reasons this is frustrating because if they are in a patient room and have to go out to re-dock and go back in etc. RALs told me the meters check in on their own every 10 minutes without physically re-docking them and that this cannot be changed. Anyone else have this issue? Any solutions? Thanks in advance!
