Tuesday, we discovered that our lot number of EG7 test cartridges were randomly failing Level 1 POC2 High. We had two lot numbers of QC available, and it was happening with both lot numbers. We are wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue. The EG7 lot number is N25213, and the Level 1 QC lot numbers are 301190 and 301183.

Thank you for letting us know. We have had other lots since then without any issues. I do not know what occurred everything was stored at the correct temperature. Who knows what happened between Abbott shipping the cartridges and our receiving them.

All of our handling on our side seems consistent; the temperature cards never read greater than 1. We have electronic monitoring of refrigerator temperatures, and there have been no alarms.
