GEM Hemochron 100

I heard the GEM Hemochron 100s could display the patient name for a positive pt. ID, but so far I have not had any luck when I scan the ID.  I haven't gotten a firm yes or no from the vendor, is anyone seeing this?  Thanks for your input!

Unfortunately the GH100 instruments do not do positive patient ID, at least this is what we were told on our installation.  I'm hopeful that eventually they will get this functionality added.

Thanks Ashlee!  It would be a nice feature to add :)

I do not think they "talk" to the network bi-directionally so I do not think they have that capability yet.

Is the GEM Web software able to send the ADT transactions to the device?  We have the instruments directly connected to RALS, so there is no positive patient ID for my facility.
