Dear Colleagues,

This is a carry over from the ADLM side, but sharing to this group that the POCT Division is currently running a survey to have a clearer picture of the infrastructure, staffing, and costs required to support these vital services.

Data from our survey will be shared and is intended to help POCT programs:

  • Scale of POCT operations (e.g., number of devices, sites, and operators)
  • Provide better staffing and institutional support for dedicated POCT oversight
  • Identify what key governance structures are employed (e.g., utilization committees, experienced POCT directors, etc.)

The survey is confidential (e.g., we do not record your specific location or personal information). Your participation will directly contribute to building a benchmark that benefits every member of our community. To be clear, our goal is to have results be published for consumption by the community. These data will help us advocate for appropriate staffing, funding, and recognition of POCT programs-both within our own institutions and across the profession.

The survey link is here (we have also shared over LinkedIn): https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=oGWYO2bwRki_TRE_S-8HVRoChwmqsCVIvRbkvsOh3mJUQUhSNjMwRVRWR1IyMDMzVUJZODkxNldLSy4u&route=shorturl

This survey will close Jan 31.

Thank you!
