Where do you tell staff to dispose of POCT supplies that are used for testing? Swabs, cartridge, test strips ect. Can they go in "regular" trash or do they need to go into biohazard trash?

HI
DCA cartridges in red bin.
Glass and sharps in sharps container.
Nasal Swabs/ Cassettes in biohazard trash per manufacturer's instructions and IP Department.
All items that do not have permanently affixed PHI go in the regular trash.
Items with permanent PHI goes in the red bins to be incinerated.
