Hello! Our ortho dept is interested in performing these as Point of Care. Is anyone doing them as POC that can share their experience? Or are you performing them in the main lab as a better option? It would likely be low volume, so we are wondering if the expense/requirements would outweigh the convenience. Thanks!

I looked into it several years ago because of a request. The test is moderately complex, and I think that's why nothing ever came from the request.
We run this testing in the Core lab due to the moderate complexity and the low volume. It also keeps our surgical staff from running them and not following the proper procedure.
