Nova StatSensor Patient Reporting

Can anyone confirm that the Nova StatSensor creatinine devices can be configured to report to 2 decimal places on patient results?  AI says yes, but their online manual does not seem to include any detail on setting that up.

thanks so much Pam!!

Sure thing! Glad to help!

The imprecision of that assay is incredible. I wouldn't trust the accuracy of it to 2 decimal places.
I really wish a competitor would make a more accurate, more precise POCT device for JUST creatinine/eGFR.

Interesting Ken, that was my hunch as well, so thank you for adding that.  I think this issue is going to come into greater focus as facilities search for a better solution for pediatric POC crea testing, where the precision at that level really matters.

We use ours as screening for Radiology throughput only. They have been adequate for that purpose.
