Recommended iSTAT Replacement Age

Does anyone know of the Abbott recommended iSTAT replacement age? My hospital system has almost 40 iSTATs throughout, many of which are OLD (I have one on my desk that is 21 years old). I couldn't find any literature to support a recommended replacement time, but I was thinking that might help my department build a case for replacement capitol.

Hi Rachel, I just posted this topic 5 minutes ago! We would like to recommend replacing devices as well and would love to hear what others are doing in their institutions.
