HDR Comparison of Analyzers

Good morning, for each POCC that covers CVOR, please explain your process in detail for comparing HDR every six months. It would be even better if you are able to share your worksheet to show how you compare the results. Do you use 10% as your "passing" acceptability criteria from analyzer to analyzer? We have three HMS and usually compare 2 of the 3 and then switch the next 6 months to the other one in rotation. Does your hospital do the same? Thank you so much!

We do comparisons between both our HMS devices and between our HMS and iSTAT for ACT cartridges. Our bias that we use is 20% for our HDR and for our ACT. We look at the baseline and the slope both must be within 20% of each other to be acceptable.

We do the same as Ashley
