For this year's ADLM Annual Meeting, POC has a unique opportunity to learn more about REGULATIONS!! I know from my own professional experience that regulations can be a bear to navigate. I enrolled today to participate in this year's University POC all-day event, Sunday 7/26/26 0900 - 1600, with highly respected speakers!
Thanks Erika Deaton-Mohney for thinking of posting the POC Course during ADLM annual meeting, Sunday during the University Sessions. Kathleen David and I are presenting units on Proficiency Testing and Training/Competency/Competency Assessment, respectively. The emphasis during the 6 hr course (6 CEs awarded) is toward 'deficiencies identified during accreditation inspections' with a focus on building awareness and discussing effective strategies for resolving frequent lab deficiencies. Jeannie Mumford and Milly Keeler tackle topics 'quality and corrective actions' and 'practical solutions for POCT', respectively.
