Recording Ambient Temperatures

What is everyone using to monitor ambient temperature and/or humidity in their areas with POC devices/cartridges? We have a traceable digital thermometer in each area and have staff record temps daily. We would like to find something that would record the temp for us daily or hourly and give us the ability to download the temps for review monthly. Does anyone know of any traceable device that can do this that isn't super expensive? I'm just tired of hearing people complain about how long it takes to record temps every day. Thanks :)

We use a product from Fisher Scientific, Fisher Brand Excursion Track Hygrometer.  It allows us to download the readings (you can set the interval) on a USB drive.  We could not use any of the WiFi or Phone App devices.

It is not the most inexpensive device.

We use SensoScientific Temperature Cloud monitoring (Remote Temperature Monitoring System | SensoScientific).  We've had a few issues because of having too many accounts but as long as only one person takes care of the accounts and tracking who owns which thermometer and probe calibrations and replacements, it should be fine. It monitors temperature and humidity 24 hours a day and we can acknowledge alarms, document corrective actions and review monthly temperatures. Hope this helps.

Hi,
We use Tempstick sensors to monitor temp and humidity remotely using WiFi and access the information  in the app using a phone or log in from a computer.

We use the LogTag Recorders (UTRID-16 and UHADO-16) by Global Sensors.  You are able to configure the recorders to your specifications, and they are easy to download.

Our hospital uses the VersaTrak monitoring system. This is set up through facility ops.

We use Aegis ThermoSystems. The cost is pretty reasonable and it gets the job done. One thing to keep in mind is that we've had some connectivity issues over the years and sensors occasionally disconnect and need to be reconnected.
In some areas we partner with our Pharmacy team, they use SmartSense. It's definitely more expensive but the network reliability is much better from our experience.
