Good Morning,
I am trying to get an idea of how many staff members POCC's oversee compared to the volume of POC tests performed. If you are willing to let me know how many staff members are dedicated to Point of Care and what your total testing volumes are I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You,
Kelly VanWagner MLS(ASCP) SH

This is going to be heavily dependent on the number of test system, waived vs non-waived and how automated your system is in addition to number of users and tests.
We are highly automated, (for example: the waived systems automatically update users access *if* the user completes the steps correctly). We also have "SuperUsers" that are RN's (grandfathered), RT's, Perfusionists and Dr's out on the floors that sign the skill-checks to recertify.
