Anyone using the Hemochron Sig. Elite or 100 for ACT-LR in cardiac cath lab?  What is your reference and therapeutic range?  Thanks for any responses!

We have Hemochron 100s in our CVOR and cath labs. The Werfen rep helped me complete target time studies to develop our therapeutic ranges.
PCU, CCU, SICU (Floors/units) - pulling sheaths post procedure = <150 seconds
Cath Labs - therapeutic level during cases = >270 seconds
EP Lab (Part of the cath lab) - therapeutic level during cases = >380 seconds
CVOR - therapeutic level during cases = >465 seconds

Hope this helps.

We have the Sig Elites and our transitioning to the 100s :)

Our reference range for non-heparinzed patients is 89-169. Cath Lab is looking for >300 during cases (>250 if using 2b3a) and <150 for sheath removal.

We use the GEM Hemochron 100-2. Is that the same instrument?

Thanks, TAS
