Medtronic ACT Plus and Gem Hemochron 100?

Is anyone operating both the Medtronic ACT Plus and Gem Hemochron 100 in the same facility? I would really like to keep my life less complicated, but I can't seem to get approval for replacement for all 10 of our Medtronic ACT Plus devices. I'm thinking about getting it done in pieces (Cath Lab now, Surgery later). Cath Lab is currently being remodeled, so they should be able to get theirs replaced as part of their remodel budget. Am I crazy?

We are not running both but have I have a doctor wanting to use ACT+ in EP cases in the Cath Lab vs. the ACT-LR and wondering if you currently use the ACT+ in a Cath Lab setting? I know the ACT+ and LR cuvettes are not interchangeable but would like to talk to you if you are running ACT+ in the Cath Lab.
Are you crazy? Possibly, but this is POC, we all are. I run both the Medtronic ACT plus and the Hemochron Signature Elite. For me it isn't bad because I only run the ACT-LR on the SigElite, not the ACT-HR. If your Cath Lab is being remodeled, this would be a good time for them to switch. They are likely using the low range (double check that).
Good morning. We are currently doing both but the organization decided to do away with Medtronic and go with GEM Hemochron 100. It will be much easier to maintain and monitor.
