Roche Liat and Telcor

Hi all, first timer here.
Relatively new in my POCC role and looking for some input. Currently working on setting up 8 Roche Liats for our urgent cares and am wondering if anyone uses the Liat platform and Telcor. How are you managing sharing assay tube lots between devices? Does Telcor have the capability to manage the Liat assay tube lots? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Josh - I do not have experience with using Roche's Liat platform, but I can tell you that there is always the capability to track/report a disposable type in Telcor - whether it is a test strip, cartridge, or other disposable, so I would imagine it can do the same with this device.  Not sure if that is what you mean by 'manage', though.

Yes, I have used this when working at Connecicut Children's Hospital.  Telcor manages the Lots and will send the Lot numbers to all of the devices once you QC the new lot. Each new Lot of cartridges is not available on the LIAT until you perform QC and it passes. It is a very easy process, the only issue we encountered, is if you have a lot of different Lot numbers of cartridges for a particular assay. Telcor can only hold a certain number for each assay type. I am not sure of the exact number it can hold, I would ask them.

Thank you Heidi! Super encouraging response!! I have more questions about your Liat/Telcor process, if you're willing, could you reach out to me at klingj@bronsonhg.org
