Hello, I'm trying to interpret the following statement from the package insert:
The Sofia Strep contains two built in procedural control featurs. The manufacturer's recommendation for daily QC is to document these built in procedural controls for the first sample tested each day.
How do you document this?
thank you
Nancy

edit: Andries is correct. You should not report it out to the patients. It's important that you do capture it just in case the inspectors asks.
We had the same issue with the Abaxis Piccolo xpress internal QC (iQC) where CLIA, etc. require that information to be captured/evaluated for the first patient testing event of the day. By capturing them all, we never miss the capture.
