RN's performing ISTAT competency assessment in California
We were told by the Joint Commission inspector that RN's can no longer perform competency assessment in California. I don't remember the number for this regulation, but I remember him saying it's from Business and Professions code. Does anyone know the number of this standard? Also, what workflow adjustments do you make to be compliant?

Does anyone currently have the RapidPoint 500e Blood Gas analyzer and if so, can you share the operator manual with me. We may potentially switch over and I want to start getting my policy together.
