Point of Care Policies.

: "Our point of care policies are owned by nursing. Our POC department is responsible for getting signatures by Lab Admin. This is a cumbersome process and we are requesting that the POC department take ownership of these policies.
Does anyone have this type of setup where nursing owns the POC policies?

Allowing Nursing to edit POC results in EPIC.

: "We just realized that nursing has the ability to edit POC results in EPIC.
Has anyone in this group encountered this issue? I cannot think of any reason that they should have the ability to do this."

Full site competencies for techs that float

: "I recently was informed we will need to do full competencies on all techs at every site they may float to. We have five clinics in our system which isn't alot compared to most of you- I'm curious to see how other people are handling this.
Charter a bus and drive all (20) techs to all clinics and do the same comps at each site....
